Letter Writing Campaign

In Australia, there is a strong movement to protect koalas, but the government has not passed such protective legislation. This act would help preserve the future and habitat of one of the national treasures of Australia, the koalas.

With our writing campaign we hope that legislation will be passed and koalas would receive protection and have a chance to survive as a species.

If you would like to contribute in convincing Prime Minister of Environment, Sussan Ley to pass the act, click on the link below. Print out the document and fill in the blanks for your name and the date. You can then mail it to the address at the top of the document. Or email her at Sussan.Ley.MP@aph.gov.au and copy and paste the template letter into the email. The subject of the email would be "Support the Koala Protection Act".

Participating in this letter campaign, can make a huge impact on the lives of koalas throughout Australia.
